For the series: much ado about nothing. We were out with friends, they insisted on taking us to this pastry shop. Nice place, not very big, but tastefully furnished. Abroad it has tables for drinks. Maybe they told me too well about it and this raised the level of expectations. We tasted several things. Nothing particularly striking. And the prices are much higher than the average pastry shop. Of course, you can't judge from just one visit, I'll try again. But I definitely expected more

After a long trip from Naples with high expectations, my experience at Celestina Pasticceria was unfortunately disappointing. The pastry shop, which I followed on social media, did not reflect the positive image I had formed. First of all, I was surprised and frustrated by the ordering method: instead of having the convenience of ordering directly at the table, you had to order at the counter and then be served. This detail, although it may seem minor, negatively impacted my overall experience. Furthermore, the variety of offerings was limited. Not even a simple hot chocolate was available, and the general assortment of desserts did not live up to my expectations. This left me with the impression that the pastry shop gives more importance to its image on social media rather than the quality and variety of its products. Another critical point was the venue itself. While aesthetically pleasing, the presence of midges was annoying and made the environment less welcoming. Added to this is a lack of attention to cleanliness and a service that is not up to par. In conclusion, my visit to Celestina Pasticceria was a disappointment. Not only will I not return, but I don't feel like recommending it to others. The long road traveled to get here turned out to be, in my opinion, a "lost journey".

Excellent pastry shop, very varied selection of desserts, even if when I was there there were no ice creams in the shop. The desserts are very tasty, well cared for in appearance and present themselves very well. The staff is friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable and willing to make suggestions based on personal tastes. Prices are in line with the quality. They also offer a decent amount of tea and herbal teas, plus hot chocolate, coffee, ginseng and more.

I necessarily have to share my experience! My brother from Naples gave me some apricot and dark panettone as a gift, in a very pleasant house-shaped packaging! I was amazed by the balance and the ingredients! A light dough, full of alveoli, with a rich flavor that goes very well with dark chocolate and sweet apricots.
